Perfectly in time with the release of their new hit album 'The Beginning Of Times', we are happy to announce Finland's best melodic death metal band, AMORPHIS. Always welcome guests at SUMMER BREEZE, AMORPHIS will headline the Pain Stage on one of the three festival days, captivating us all with their gripping, magical melodies.
Guarantee for a perfect mix of death metal, Finnish folk, a slight prog edge and a little added melancholy, the band has been riding high again since the addition of frontman Tomi Joutsen. With the release of their “comeback” album 'Eclipse', the band was able to tie in with old classics such as 'Tales >From The Thousand Lakes' and 'Elegy' after something of a dry spell at the beginning of the century. VNV NATION (Victory not Vengeance) is an English-Irish Future-Pop band founded in 1990. The band consists of singer and song writer Ronan Harris and drummer Mark Jackson. Their music is a mixture of danceable electronic rhythms, pop music, Techno trance and orchestral influences. The band can be counted as one of the leading acts in the alternative Electronic Music scene.
