Finnish cello rockers of APOCALYPTICA on their new album ‘7th Symphony‘ are presenting themselves more versatile than ever. Now they put out another hit with the second single ‘Broken Pieces’. Vocal duties are taken over by Lacey Mosley this time, usually doing the vocal parts for grunge rock outfit FLYLEAF. The song is tailor-made for the singer’s voice and for the first time she’s able to show she can capture and transport melancholic as well as energetic moods. The four Finnish guys make the rocking fundament, have themselves fall in the background with their cello play and first in the melancholic middle part leave their cover. Vocals and cello interlock precisely like clockworks as if made for each other all along. The single’s being released on 22nd October.- Details

Schneewittchen
SCHNEEWITTCHEN, who have taken their name from an old German fairy tale, is one of the more interesting alternative German bands. Founded in Hanover in 2000 by Thomas Duda and Marianne Isar, their brand label are the vocals performed by Marianne Isar. Their song texts are full of dark romanticism and black humour and often deal with death, murder, mental diseases, but also with lost, social injustice and the sensation of loneliness. SCHNEEWITTCHEN have published three albums and are since 2009 on tour with their program “Fürchte Dich nicht” (Don’t be afraid of).

Deine Lakaien
Few bands of the gothic subculture have reached such a degree of popularity like the German project DEINE LAKAIEN, which consists of Alexander Veljanov (vocals) and Ernst Horn (songwriter, instrumentals). Since they started making music in the year 1985, it is not possible to think about electronic music without bearing in mind this outstanding formation. They have published about ten albums, and after their acclaimed tour “Twenty years of electronic avant-garde” on 2007 their new album was highly expected. The first single of the new album, ‘Gone’, was out at September 2010 and entered the Nr. one in the German Alternative Charts. In October 2010, DEINE LAKAIEN started their tour, presenting the new album ‘Indicator’, which was highly acclaimed by their listeners.
