For the ninth time already, Planet Myer Day calls fans of electronic music from all corners of the world to Moritzbastei in Leipzig to spend a fun evening with good music. The line-up will be led by DESTROID with a blend of sophisticated electronics and intelligent lyrics and sophisticated doesn’t exclude the chance of getting some heavy dance floor fillers. With KLANGSTABIL there’s once again an act in on the party that with their uncompromising, poignant sound will make for one of the most emotional appearances that day.

MGMT began their career as THE MANAGEMENT in 2002 before shortening their name. The band is composed of Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden who met while studying experimental music in Connecticut. The debut 'Oracular Spectacular' became a spectacular success and spawned hit singles such as 'Kids' or 'Electric Feel', gaining the band widespread acclaim both from critics and music fans.

After their critically acclaimed debut-EP from 2005 and the remix-album "Folge mir" from 2008 Pitch Black Inc. are back with new material in full length-format. "Alles ist gesagt" is a misleading title of course. Because the Schanz/Bernstein-duo still has a lot to say especially musically. Clearly their roots are in the Electro-genre.
