When you listen to DORNENREICH you are immediately taken on a mental trip to a land full of melancholic passion. Now, after 15 years since DORNENREICH was formed, they can look back on a really successful career. Many people say that DORNENREICH built up their own avant-garde and very expressive style of Black Metal. Some even say they created something totally new and set an important milestone in the history of Metal.
After their sixth album ‘In Luft Geritzt’ which was overwhelmingly intensive, DORNENREICH will release their new album ‘Flammentriebe’ in early 2011. Therefore the band is coming to Dresden to give a concert. But they will not only just play a normal set someone might expect. They announced that this time they will do a double set consisting of an acoustic-set and a metal-set to show how intimate and yet forceful DORNENREICH can be.
German AGRYPNIE will be the special guest to escort DORNENREICH. The band was formed from the Black Metal- founding fathers Nocte Obducta. Seeing that they combine oppressively insistent with melancholy wide soundscapes they will surely be a very good opener for the night.
