Some news fresh off the desk of the organizers:“Before continuing with the latest news, we would first like to welcome you to our new homepage! When this year’s festival came to an end, we immediately started preparations for Blackfield 2011 – since such a festival is a lot of work especially if it does include two festivals we need to organise and prepare. You got that right: Two festivals! After three years in the Ruhr area, the whole team is extremely happy to announce a second festival

The date has been set, the Tanzbrunnen booked and the pre sale has begun. While the preparations for the Amphi Festival 2011 proceed with big leaps, it is high time to unveil the first batch of bands.First bands confirmed for the Amphi Festival 2011
On 16. & 17. July 2011 34 bands on 2 stages, as well as a supporting programme in the seated Theatre, are awaiting you at the Tanzbrunnen Cologne. Starting into the new season we are happy to present a rich selection of fabulous artists. Among others, still to be announced, the following acts are entering the Amphi stages for you in summer 2011:

"Repeat & Follow" is the brand new single from the UK's Inertia. The single contains seven remixes and a bonus track "Fallout". "Repeat & Follow" has quickly become a firm favourite amongst the fans and DJ's at Inertia's recent live shows and is a strong taster of things to come on the band's 11th album "Deworlded".

As covenant.de confirmed today, the upcoming COVENANT single will be called 'Lightbringer'. This is a message of Eskil Simonsson, singer of the band, received by covenant.de this morning: "Greetings from the studio! We are in the final phase of finishing our new single and we are about to confirm release dates of single and album. The new single will be called 'Lightbringer' and is a collaboration with another Swedish band. More info soon... We will release a vinyl edition 500 copies of United States of Mind with dependent and emmo. Joakim says hi to all. We were working together in the studio yesterday on the remixes of the new track but he won't join any concerts for now."- DEINE LAKAIEN - Indicator confirmed for European release
