On March 7th, just in time for the new full moon, Peter Gabriel released the third song from his upcoming album ‘i/o’ with ‘Playing For Time’. The track comes with artwork by artist Annette Messager. ‘Playing For Time’ was written and produced by Gabriel. Tom Cawley can be heard on the piano. The orchestral arrangements, recorded with musicians who previously e.g. played in the New Blood Orchestra are by Ed Shearmur.

Eagerly anticipated, we are happy to announce the final Amphi bands for 2023 today. The line-up is being completed by KITE, S.P.O.C.K and SYNTHATTACK. We also have to share important information about the ticket situation: Due to the high demand, the contingent of the second ticket price stage is now exhausted. As of now, only the third stage is available, which raises the ticket price by 10 € to 105 € plus fees and shipping. At the same time, the presale of Amphi day tickets has started at the price of 69 € plus fees and shipping. 2ND FACE unveil the first dark song ‘formula Extinction’, which is taken from their forthcoming new full-length ‘utOpium’. The massive new album of the German progressive industrial act has been scheduled for release on May 12, 2023.

2ND FACE comment: “The track ‘formula Extinction’ is inspired by humanity’s reckless exploitation of the planet’s resources - a process that will inevitably create a rather dystopian environment for generations to come”, mastermind Vincent Uhlig explains: “The lyrics revolve around a society that is tranquilised by social media and streaming platforms. Everybody is cosily wrapped up in their ‘utOpium’ and unable to elude its lethargic effect.”
