LACUNA COIL has announced their support bands for the upcoming UK & European tour. DIRTY LITTLE RABBITS (With SLIPKNOT member Shawn “Clown” Crahan) and the Goth rockers of DOMMIN, who have recently signed to Roadrunner Records, will rock stages with LACUNA COIL from January to March. DIRTY LITTLE RABBITS will be main support on 7 shows, whereas DOMMIN will play the entire tour. The upcoming tour is the band’s first headliner tour in support of the widely praised, current album ‘Shallow Life’ which is going to be released on 22nd January as a special deluxe edition with alternative artwork, a bonus CD with unreleased and rare material, and an expanded booklet. Furthermore, the new clip for the track ‘I Won’t Tell you’ will be premiering soon, so keep your eyes peeled.- Details

With the British Alternative Rock band RESIST, Remote Music adds a new artist to its roster. In 2005, they already played a 26-date tour only 3 months after their inception with the cult band THE FALL of Mark E. Smith. 2006 saw the independent release of the RESIST debut album ‘Violated’ via ITunes that, regardless of 10.000 other band applications, made it to the finals of “U.K live’n’unsigned”. In 2008, the English media started showing interest and the band received first radio airplay and had their TV debut. More details on the upcoming release and the band will follow shortly.- Details

The US American master of Dark Wave, a renowned artist, soon releases his sixth album ‘Infinite Gaze to the Sun’. Seldom has he been aiming towards the dance floors that much, but still hasn’t lost his sense for catchy and darkly melancholic songs. For the first time he wrote the songs solely on guitar to add the typical electro elements later during the production. The result is a phenomenal “Gothtronica” album that is the current pinnacle in regards to sound selection and song writing which furthermore can score with a unique style. Here’s hoping that the artist will finally tour Europe’s stages in 2010. Until that comes to pass, fans will find comfort in ‘Infinite Gaze to the Sun’ and the video clips and artwork, all conceptually linked to the silent film era.Source: Newsletter

Following WINTERMOND’s spectacular success at Battle of the bands 2008 they’ll now release their first studio album ‘Desiderium’. Teaming up with the Danse Macabre label and Bruno Kramm (Das Ich) mastering the stuff, professionals of the scene have been employed. The unique voices of Didic and Gabrielle, who have recorded all vocals in German, set the right tone for the harsh guitar riffs.
