After the first edition of him Vintage Electronics Festival in January pleased all in attendance and left them with happy faces, having just witnessed electronic veterans CLICK CLICK, VOMITO NEGRO and NO MORE., the question whether or not there would be a next festival became completely redundant. For the next edition, no other than the Swedish Electro/New Wave formation TWICE A MAN whose song ‘Decay’ was to become an evergreen in dark scene clubs and saves any further introduction will be headlining the event. Support, if you’d like to call it that way, will be a legend of the Electro genre: PORTION CONTROL from London! With their then-new way of working with samples they were influential for countless bands in the 80s including SKINNY PUPPY.

Until the beginning of the 90s there’ve been lots of bands causing quite a stir in the independent music scene. Already back then England’s NEW MODEL RMY was at the front line of them. Hits like ‘51st State’, ‘Stupid Question’, ‘Vagabonds’, or ‘Purity’ are still very fresh in the minds of those who’ve witnessed that time. While other bands gather in the spotlights of the media and partly do things that’d put others to shame, reports about NEW MODEL ARMY are rare. Like LEVELLERS also NEW MODEL ARMY are using a term dating back to the times of English civil war for their band name.

Three months prior to the German comeback shows of ULTRAVOX, their charismatic front man presents songs like ‘Dancing With Tears In My Eyes’ or ‘Vienna’ as they were initially written: Purely acoustic, stripped back down to the intimate essentials. But not only songs from this band’s repertoire, may it be the chart breakers or rarely played gems, will be showcased to the audience. The program also will encompass songs out of Ure’s solo career such as ‘Breathe’ or ‘If I Was’ and compositions from other artists that were influential for the man who himself is seen as influential now to many artists I guess. So you will get to hear DAVID BOWIE’s ‘Stardust’ or ‘No Regrets’ by THE WALKER BROTHERS during this surely magical evening either.

Death metal butchers ABORTED announce a new line-up, featuring Sven de Caluwe (also of System Divide) on vocals, Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork) on drums, Eran Segal (ex-They Swarm/Whorecore) and Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams) on guitar and Cole Martinez (System Divide) on bass. This newly revamped line-up has been working on new material for the past months and recorded a brand new 5-track EP entitled "Coronary Reconstruction".
