27 acts on three stages and a selected supporting program: On April 28th and 29th, the Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park once again became the meeting place for the black scene. At PLAGE NOIRE over the weekend, everything was dominated by the black subculture of dark aesthetics, morbid melancholy and cross-genre musical art. The last weekend of June is always reserved for Castle Rock festival, that took place in 2000 for the first time. While many festivals in Germany exclude children and or those under the age of 16, Castle Rock welcomes everyone. The festival ground, located in front of Broich castle, is a unique one and offers plenty of space in downtown Mülheim.
