If there was a list of legendary twin festivals, ROCK AM RING and its twin ROCK IM PARK certainly deserve a place on it. Founded in 1985, the Nürburgring and its sister festival on the storied grounds in Nuremberg have seen all the big names in Rock and Pop music ever since. And the headliners are definitely worth celebrating, as they have been announced as GREEN DAY, MåNESKIN, and DIE ÄRZTE.
But it certainly does not stop here. Also, the remaining 70 bands of the already announced line-up should satisfy your craving, whatever musical style you are into. But the bands are only one part of the festival experience. Every seasoned festivalgoer will tell you that the best parties can be found on the vast campgrounds. So say goodbye to sleep, running water, and any other amenities of civilized life and embrace three days of true freedom and anarchy at the legendary festival grounds. But if you are not inclined to dedicate your full weekend, ROCK IM PARK and ROCK AM RING have announced the detailed timetable, so you can also buy day tickets. But do not obsess over the running order too long, as with only a few weeks to go, a dwindling supply of weekend festival passes and day tickets are still available for ROCK IM PARK.
