Swedish Extreme Metallers SHINING have been confirmed to support SATYRICON on the upcoming European Tour. The 17-date tour, set to start on the 2nd December, also includes NEGURA BUNGET and DARK FORTRESS. Referring to the recent cancellation of SHINING’s European tour, front man Niklas Kvarforth said: “We are all too aware of the fact that a lot of fans were disappointed by the actions of the Metal Maniacs Agency, which forced us to cancel the tour, but hopefully the tour with SATYRICON will go some way towards making up for it. We are also looking at a lot of possibilities for next year at the moment, so be prepared for SHINING and 2010”. - Details

With their “Ethnolution A.D.” album from 2006 German Melodic/Power metallers MOB RULES again received worldwide critical acclaim. Now, three years later and after exploring new territories by touring U.K., Spain and USA, finally a new studio album will be released on November 13th. Entitled “Radical Peace”, MOB RULES´ new effort is a stunning, powerful, but still very melodic album that impressively displays their tremendous songwriting and musical skills. On January 9th, 2009, 36 Crazyfists filmed their very first live DVD in their hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. The effort, aptly titled "Underneath A Northern Sky" was directed by good friend Todd Bell, who joined the band for a weeks worth of revisiting old stomping grounds, listening to stories of the formation of the band and all the antics that come along with a band who is in their 15th year and counting. "Anchorage, Alaska has a small music scene," explains vocalist Brock Lindow. "Pretty much everyone knows each other. Growing up in here, shaped us to be aware of the beauty of isolation and creating your own self. We had MTV just like everyone else, but as people, we adapted to dark winters and summers where the sun never went down. That in itself created so many amazing rituals and memories of the season.”
