The electro rock band AKANOID already released their current album ‘Civil Demon’ in May 2009, which is supposed to be promoted big time in autumn now. APOCALYPTICA is scheduled to enter the studio in the winter, to begin recording its new album for a spring 2010 release. Cellist and composer Eicca Toppinen revealed it in an inteview with Finlands 'HardcoreSounds.net': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWqIyp2ztYkThe interview is helt before the band's performance at the Rockperry Festival, which was held 17 and 18 July in Vaasa, Finland. The band scored its first No. 1 rock radio hit in November with "I Don't Care", the latest single from the band's sixth studio album, "Worlds Collide". The disc has sold around a quarter million copies in the U.S. and marks the group's first significant success in this country in their 15-year career.

LEAVES' EYES will make its new album, "Njord", available as a very special-edition. Strictly limited to 500 copies. The deluxe box set contains a premium viking longship model, and the limited-edition digipack CD, including two bonus tracks plus an extra sticker.
