In 2006, THE MARY MAJOR rose from the ashes of the band BESEECH. Henceforth, the band focussed on their hard, kick-ass rock sound. The band spent the past year with the writing of new songs. But even if the band likes to work on new songs in the studio, the stage is their true home. It is not before they’re one with the cheering, rocking fans that their sound comes to life. Keeping true to their roots, the debut album contains nothing but rocking, guitars, solid vocals and relentless bass sound. THE MARY MAJOR conquered the Swedish rock scene in no time and now reaches for the rest of the world and will come to German clubs in September as well.- Details

Australian Synth pop duo PARRALOX signed to Conzoom Records and debut on the label on 28th August 2009 with the digital single ‘Hotter’, which is at the same time a foretaste for the second album ‘State of Decay’ to be released on 13th November 2009 as limited CD edition and download (With additional bonus tracks). Works on the record are almost finished and the duo has recorded 12 tracks for their second album. For the limited first edition (1,000 copies), John van Ahlen and Amii recorded two additional tracks. Furthermore, the limited edition of the album comes with two exclusive re-mixes of album tracks.- Details

The single ‘The Whole Story’ of SUNRISE AVENUE will be the trailer song of the 12th IAAF World Championships in athletics Berlin 2009. Within the scopes of the cooperation between ZDF and EMI Music Germany, the song will be used in the trailers for the event, and for the ‘Pictures of the Day’. Furthermore, the band will play live at the big start-up event at Brandenburger Tor on 14th August 2009 in Berlin. SUNRISE AVENUE, the sympathetic band from Finland, widely known for their hit ‘Fairytale Gone Bad’ is pleased by the cooperation with ZDF. The trailer song ‘The Whole Story’ was taken from the new album ‘POPGASM’, released on 222nd May 2009.- Details
