Following the release of the self-titled “Taake” CD on Dark Essence Records last year, Svertenkunst Produksjoner, have this month released a vinyl edition of the album. The LP comes in an 180g double gatefold version, and features a cover of the BURZUM classic “A Lost Forgotten Sad Spirit” as an exclusive bonus track, as well as different cover artwork and an A2 poster. “Taake” is the fourth studio album from TAAKE, a band that over the years has been one of the definers of True Norwegian Black Metal; using intense, unique, and unpredictable dynamics to create an atmosphere that ranges from ice cold Nordic melodies, to catchy necro riffs.

Like many of you already know, the line-up of the band is going to change: "Angel, Geir, Fredrik and I decided a few months ago to take a break from Apop. Playing in Apop has been extremely time consuming for all of us the last many years, and we all felt it was about time to do other stuff, at least for the rest of 2009."

After the surprising success of the first single ‘Über’s Wasser Gehen’, OBSCENITY TRIAL will release their second single with the title ‘Glück Auf' on 11th September 2009. Producer Tino Oac and the indicative studio (www.indicative-studio.de) set their hands on the new single like they did on ‘Über’s Wasser Gehen’. ’Glück Auf’ is an electro pop ballad that crawls under your skin. It is an anthem to life – honest, pure and direct. This time around, the song will be released digitally only thus, the upcoming third studio album ‘Soulstrip’ won’t be long in coming anymore.
