KMFDM
20 studio albums, 25 singles and EPs, numerous live albums, DVDs, constant top rankings in the German Alternative Charts and much more speak a clear language about the long-time flagship of the legendary Chicago-based label Wax Trax: KMFDM, founded in 1984 in Hamburg today belong more than ever to the active leaders of the scene so it was just this year when – besides the complete re-release of their back catalogue - their new studio album ‘Blitz’ was released. At the beginning of the 90s KMFDM contributed to various film scores like Mortal Kombat, Johnny Mnemonic, Hellraiser II, or Michael Bay’s action spectacle Bad Boys with the hit ‘Juke Joint Jezebel’. Furthermore KMFDM are working as very popular remixers. Besides bands such as WHITE ZOMBIE, COMBICHRIST, FRONT 242 and DIE KRUPPS have been working already for the likes of MEGADETH, RAMMSTEIN, METALLICA and produced one album for BAUHAUS singer Peter Murphy.

Monster Magnet, Boozed
There’s going to be rock. Straight and in your face as MOBSTER MAGNET have announced their coming and you’re invited to “Two hours of no-holds-barred riffing, bass lines kicking your head in, and a light show that brings on any flashbacks you want to flash back to.” To say it with the bands words! Even after 20 years in the business MONSTER MAGNET are playing in the top league of the Hard and Stoner Rock genre. They even remembered their psychedelic past and recently covered the ROLLING STONES classic ‘200 Light Years from Home’. Dave Wyndorf and his band colleagues still are on top when it comes to let the thatch fly, to get the testosterone flowing and to keep the head banging at the upper limits. This will be the only show in North-Rhine-Westphalia the band’s going to play so don’t miss this chance to see them.

With the debut of the quartet NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND, arrives at German record shops what is probably the hottest import from Spain. NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND decorates perfectly conceived Rock and Metal with catchy electronics. Its as if CEVIN KEY (Skinny Puppy) or RHYS FULBER (Front Line Assembly) would have added exciting song-patchwork to rapid guitar riffs that will shake the legs of any KMFDM-fans.
Already the violent opener Phoenix Uprising indicates the direction of an album that has what it takes to give a new impulse to the Industrial-Metal scene. Songs like Game or Heaven in Hell have a distinctive stamp on them which most musical comrades of Madrid-based NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND can only dream of.
