Being a so-called cult band does not mean that everything goes fine every time. THE SISTERS OF MERCY’s tour in 2023 was not off to a good start. First, the dismissal of guitarist Dylan Smith, followed by a series of lastminute cancelled concerts. This was followed by gigs with the hastily recruited guitarist Kai (ESPRIT D’AIR) and complaints from numerous fans that singer Andrew Eldritch did not meet their vocal expectations. During their US-Tour in autumn 2024 and their gig in Madrid in November they have proven that they can do better. Thus, let’s hope things are going to go fine in 2025 as well.
