Lacrimas Profundere - “How To Shroud Yourself With Night” Tour 2022
After the release of their most successful album to date, ‘Bleeding The Stars’, which received titles such as “Album of the Month” in Metal Hammer, top 10 placements in the other major magazines, plus chart entry, the celebrated tour together with the Finns THE 69 EYES and their own packed concert tour last late summer, LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE announce an extensive headline tour for September.
LACRIMAS mastermind Oliver Nikolas says of the tour: “We are incredibly grateful, humbled, and honored to announce many new shows and rescheduled festivals.” And singer Julian adds: “It’s time to hit the stages again and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s going to be a great tour, we’re super hungry to tour again and we're looking forward to seeing all the fans there!”
As well as all the classics from the band’s almost 30-year history, you can of course expect a lot of brand new material from the new album, which will be released just before the tour. The band plays a more than 2-hour-long program, with a short break between the sets, and therefore does without support bands. So look forward to an extraordinary concert evening by one of the most innovative and successful German dark metal bands of today. LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE is a German Dark Rock band formed in 1993 by guitarist Oliver Nikolas Schmid. Up until their fourth album, ‘Burning: A Wish’, released in 2001, they played Gothic Metal in their albums such as the debut ‘...And the Wings Embraced Us’. Their style changed to Dark Rock, so they became internationally known with ‘Fall, I Will Follow’. ‘Filthy Notes for Frozen Hearts’ entered the German album charts for the first time and from then on they toured in 29 countries!
