19th October 2011
Roxette

Formed in 1986, ROXETTE already had their commercial breakthrough by accident in 1989 with the song 'The Look' getting into the hands of an America radio station playing it on heavy rotation for weeks. It started ROXETTE's way up the ladder of success that should make them one of the most successful and outstanding pop formations in Europe. Song such as 'Joyride', 'It Must Have Been Love' or 'Spending My Time' are pop classics nowadays and I guess most of have listened to them in the youth or early adult years.

Fate had it that one day ROXETTE had to be put on indefinite hiatus due to Marie Fredrikson suffering from a brain tumour. It wasn't before 2006 that the duo would perform again on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of German magazine BRAVO. Within the scopes of "Nokia Night Of The Proms" the duo announced their comeback and their first album ever since, called 'Charm School' became a major hit. On their world tour following the release ROXETTE are travelling to many German cities an don 19th October are playing their biggest hits and more for Oberhausen.
