Woodkid
WOODKID is an alternative melodrama Pop Project from Yoann Lemoine. He is a French visual artist and singer/ songwriter. He filmed the music video ‘Teenage Dream’ (KATY PERRY), ‘Back to December’ (TAYLOR SWIFT) and ‘Blue Jeans’ (LANA DEL RAY). His own music video ‘Iron’ (2011) was the first breakthrough, followed with ‘Run boy run’.
His music and pictures are a kind of epic because some press told the music 'epic pop'. He did some gigs with his album ‘The Golden Age’ which was released in march 2013 and was supported by a keyboarder, percussion and horns. His new song ‘I Love You’ has the most expensive video in his music career: https://vimeo.com/58914790. And now, WOODKID is on tour again. This time in Berlin with an orchestra of 23 musicians.
