DIE KRUPPS plus special guests - The Machinists Of Joy Tour 2014
DIE KRUPPS are a German EBM/ Industial band from Dusseldorf. The band was founded already in 1980 by Jürgen Engler and Bernward Malaka. It was named after the German industrialist's family Krupp. The song texts and also the cover artworks take up elements of the industrial culture. Also the logo of the band, which is the company logo of the steel group Krupp – even though the band is not allowed to use it anymore in the old way.
This year in October, their new album 'The Machinists of Joy' was published. With titles like 'The Machinist Of Joy' and 'Schmutzfabrik', the band moves again in the direction of earlier works when it comes to content and music. Now in the middle of February 2014, the tour accompanying the album release will start. 12 concerts are planned, including also one on the 19th of February 2014 in the Backstage Werk in Munich.
