“Alt-Fest is the world's largest Alternative festival, a tribal gathering of Alternative lifestyles, music, art and culture.” This is what the organisers have set themselves the target of achieving, when they announced their plans in 2012 and started a poll, where people had the chance to make their wishes which bands/ artists they would like to see. The result now is overwhelming! The line- up reads well like the “who is who” of the Alternative scene. This will all happen in the beautiful countryside location of Boughton Estate near Kettering. There will be five days of camping and three days of live music, with over 180 bands spread over seven massive stages and multiple themed areas. Besides the main stage there will be also a Metal, a Goth, an Industrial and a Steampunk stage. Also there will be a lot of other attractions with arts, workshops, activities and a full size circus big top, with all day circus, side shows, burlesque and theatre. Furthermore the organisers didn’t forget the children as there will be a dedicated children’s zone (kids of 12 or under are free at the ALT FEST). And of course we don’t have to miss a shopping village. For disabled persons the festival will be also accessible with special offers.

For the after-show parties some great DJs will make you move your feet, like DJ 69, ANGEL, DJ CYBERCHRIST, D.VOID, DJ HIVE, DJ>JOE THE WAITER, DJ KOHL, DJ MARTIN OLDGOTH, DJ SINBAD, STEVE NINE and DJ VADE RETRO. The delightful greenfield festival site is less than a 1 hour drive from Birmingham and less than 90 minutes by car from central London (55 minutes by train).
