12th March 2016
Lebanon Hanover & Undertheskin
Cold spring in Warsaw will celebrate its coming with the concert of British cold-wave duo LEBANON HANOVER. The band will play in tiny underground club in most arty district of Warsaw - Prague district - and the atmosphere will be warmed-up by UNDERTHESKIN - a project of Void from Polish band DEATHCAMP PROJECT.
Lebanon Hanover was formed in 2010 by two musicians: Larissa Iceglass and William Maybelline in Great Britain, but has changed their base to Germany. So far the band has four full-lengths albums. The band considers themselves less "festival" more "club" orientated. And it's fully true: the nostalgic and minimal-wave style of music that band is trying to revive with successful effort is more likely to share between musician and audience in tight and very intimate club atmosphere.
The support band this evening UNDERTHESKIN is actually one-man project of Void - the vocalist of Polish gothic-rock band DEATHCAMP PROJECT. Void is in love with analogue sound, so, you will find a big heap of cold bass pulse, post-punk guitars and ice-cold voices. The band got already one self-titled album in the pocket. The after-show party with DJs will be held in the club nearby - "Chmury" - and will dip visitors in the dreams of 80's.
