BON IVER is an American band founded in 2006 by Justin Vernon. Appearing out of nowhere, BON IVER’s debut album, ‘For Emma, Forever Ago’, became one of the landmark albums of the late-2000s indie folk sound. The group’s second album, ‘Bon Iver, Bon Iver’, was released in 2011 and won Best Alternative Album at the 2012 Grammys.
Having previously cancelled their European tour at the beginning of 2017, BON IVER have announced eight dates at London’s Eventim Apollo for this February and March. The band will be taking along Christof Van Der Ven (26th February), and Phoebe Bridgers (4th and 5th March) to open their shows. The remaining dates, BON IVER will perform an “Evening With” - two sets separated by an interval with no support.
The shows came after the release of their third full-length album, ’22, A Million’ in 2016, which has a more synth-driven sound than their usually folk style. The artist is playing several shows at the Apollo. Here are all dates: February 21/22/25/26/27 and March 2/4/5
