Germany is ticking in silver again. The Goettingen-based band with the spectacular stage appearance presents itself on their last album in the usual uncompromising and yet further developed way. Stoic guitars, cold electronics and brutal lyrics make STAHLMANN one of the most consistent and character-strongest representatives of the Neue Deutsche Härte.
On their album harbinger ‘Bastard/ Nichts Spricht Wahre Liebe Frei’, the band around frontman Mart Soer shows that they can do much more than that: The songs move relentlessly close to life and offer a lyrical harshness that comes about less on NDH-typical language onomatopoeia, than about the unvarnished view of things. “Everyone stands before God at the end of their lives and has to answer for what he has done”, says Martin Soer.
Of course, the new songs will be presented during a German tour, supported by AMANDAS NADEL and B.O.S.C.H.
