The mighty AIRBOURNE are back with ‘Gutsy’, their first new song in six years. Bristling with attitude and intent, the song sees the band fired up and ready to take on the world.
For frontman and lead guitarist Joel O’Keeffe, his brother Ryan on drums, and the band’s other members - bassist Justin Street and rhythm guitarist Brett Tyrrell - ’Gutsy’ powerfully underlines the values they’ve always stood for: a blood-and-sweat commitment to rock ‘n’ roll and respect for the genre’s true heroes. ‘Gutsy’ is more than just a title; it’s a mindset - a line firmly drawn in the sand.
Produced by Brian Howes, who previously worked with the band on ‘Black Dog Barking’, and engineered by Mike Fraser, who has worked with AC/DC, AEROSMITH, RUSH and METALLICA, the track was mixed by Zakk Cervini, who has worked with DAYSEEKER, BRING ME THE HORIZON and ARCHITECTS. It is AIRBOURNE’s first new music since 2019’s ‘Boneshaker’.
From the first ringing guitar chord, ‘Gutsy’ makes no apologies for being big, bold and bombastic - a modern take on classic AIRBOURNE firepower, driven by a powerful bass line and unmistakable swagger. To celebrate, AIRBOURNE will return to Luxembourg in February 2026, giving you the chance to experience the new track live.
