Unbelievable what the dynamic Danes around front man Michael Poulsen have achieved in the recent years: Numerous awards and collective party right in all areas of musical media. This year the boys bring ‘Beyond Hell / Above Heaven’, their fourth CD in five short years to the stores.
The passion of front man and main songwriter Michael Poulsen is the Rock'n'Roll of the 50s and the powerful presence of Heavy Metal. And so the style of VOLBEAT was called “Elvisrock”. To observe Poulsen on stage is like to encounter a modern reincarnation of the greatest rock and roll singer of all time. In November 2010 they’re on tour in Europe and some of the 6 shows at Germany are just sold out. So we are looking forward to their shows and the music-mix of Rock'n'Roll, Heavy Metal, Country and Rockabilly.
