SPORTFREUNDE STILLER started off small and modest as STILLER back in 1996 but in due time would become the rocking masters of hearts. Their way of putting stories, told by everyday life into catchy melodies of rock origin is to the present day very unique and unrivalled, also exposing them to a wide audience being able to deeply connect to their tunes just because they do it the way they always do it. 2009 held one big surprise for the band and their fans with the recording of an “MTV Unplugged” concert which makes them the sixth German band to ever record one.
This one, aired on TV and released on CD, saw them playing their biggest hits in a rather intimate, acoustic variation with choirs, wind instruments and such. Within the scopes of that soon starting concert journey they’re bringing that program on stage and one of the selected cities being the host to this special experience will be Oberhausen on 10th December. Be in for a memorable evening…
