White Lies, Crocodiles
Back in 2009 when the young three-piece WHITE LIES released their debut album ‘To Lose My Llfe’, they couldn’t possibly know it would take off like it did. Even though there were not only positive critics, the majority praised the album of epic pieces mildly inspired from bands like EDITORS or JOY DIVISION.
Now the still young year 2011 brings us the second instalment of the British guys by the name of ‘Ritual’, heralded by the single ‘Bigger Than Us’, a classic WHITE LIES track that didn’t give anything away about the bandwidth of the new record that employs many electronic elements this time between hard and soft. In March, when everyone had plenty time to deal with the tracks, WHITE LIES will be on tour again and Cologne’s Live-Music-Hall will be one stop of the journey.
