The Human League, Performance
In the late 1970, the foundation was laid with the inception of a band called THE FUTURE that a few months later would turn into THE HUMAN LEAGUE, no one would connect anything special to at the time and even though the first albums brought some considerable success and the release of ‘Being Boiled’ that became a big hit in the clubs, and is nowadays considered a classic of electronic pop music, the big bang didn’t come as yet. But with the year 1981 dawning and the addition of Susanne Sulley and Joanne Catheral things would drastically change.
The following singles cracking the top 10 and the album ‘Dane’ becoming a landmark release. In the following years the band would be riding on a wave of success that subsided a little afterwards and for a long time you couldn’t get any new information on a new album. But with ‘Credo’ their first release in ten years, THE HUMAN LEAGUE are back and stronger than ever. For that occasion, the band will be touring around again and pay Live-Music-Hall in Cologne a little visit.
