That Steven Wilson is a man of many musical talents and has quite a few projects he’s working on in turns is an open secret to all his followers. Now it’s BLACKFIELD’s turn again, the band he founded together with Israeli star Aviv Geffen in 2000 after a meeting and which has released two albums already in 2004 and 2007. Now, in 2011, BLACKFIELD’s coming back with their all new album ‘Welcome To My DNA’ which lifts the results both the protagonists skills produce to a whole new level.
Two worlds connect and exchange their advantages with each other. Melancholy soundscapes of majestic strings and keys meet finest rock tones, creating something memorable, something that won’t soon vanish from your memories. On that happy occasion, BLACKFIELD are going to be touring Europe and Bochum’s Matrix is the venue of choice to harbour their performance and one of only two show in the Ruhr area.
