Iron Maiden
It was in the middle 1970s that a band called IRON MAIDEN emerged, later to be known being a forming factor to 1980s Heavy Metal and one of the most successful bands in that genre. It all started out with the debut album hitting stores five years after their inception, providing the foundation stone and first successes, expanded and underpinned with the two albums following it up in the next years.
The commercial breakthrough for IRON MAIDEN came with the releases of the albums ‘Piece Of Mind’ and ‘Powerslave’ in 1983 and 1984, establishing a worldwide audience for the formation which in the following time wouldn’t make it particularly easy with incorporating rather experimental influences into their raw and heavy sound. Forward to 2010 the band has released their 15th studio album ‘Final Frontier’ and in the scopes of their world tour supporting the album, they’re coming to Germany for a series of events like the showcase in Oberhausen.
