The Exploding Boy
History of THE EXPLODING BOY starts in January 2006 when Swedish artist Sophie Rimheden heard the first demo recording she offered to produce upcoming material. Since the demand for a live presentation grew considerably, the band started expanding their line-up and eventually debuted live in May of their foundation year. From there on the public interest in the Swedish bunch would considerably grow, both on the side of critics and fans and the following debut album’s release in 2007 would be supported with an extensive tour.
The band’s newest achievement is the catchy ‘Human’ to herald the band’s upcoming third record, mysteriously titled ‘The Black Album’ which is the reason for the sympathetic band visiting Germany again for a couple dates and beginning of June will be playing to a hopefully big audience at Cologne’s Underground.
