Fiddler’s Green
FIDDLER'S GREEN is a German Folk-Rock band founded in Erlangen in 1990. Their music is a mixture of Irish folk, folk-rock and elements from Punk, Metal or also Reggae - they call it “Speedfolk”.
The band's name FIDDLER'S GREEN is the Irish name for the paradise of the sailors. In 2004, their already 1,000th concert took place at Burg Hoheneck. They made two Live-DVDs about it. In the meantime, the band has played more than 1,500 concerts and published eleven albums. On 3rd November 2011, the six men of FIDDLER'S GREEN to the Freiheiz in Munich come for a concert and will provide for the fact that one will have the rare opportunity to breath deeply with a few miraculous ballads…
