Eisbrecher
EISBRECHER is a German Neue-Deutsche-Härte band which was founded in 2003. Singer Alexander 'Alexx' Wesselsky founded the band EISBRECHER together with ex-MEGAHERZ-member Noel Pix, after he has separated because of artistic differences from this band he has founded as well. In 2010, their most successful album up to now, named 'Eisbrecher', was published. It reached place 5 in the album charts. The single 'Eisbrecher', which appeared earlier, was their first single which reached the charts.
On account of their success there was afterwards also a label change: EISBRECHER signed with Sony Music/Columbia Records. After the band appears during the summer months at some festivals, among others also on the ZITA Rock festival, the Blackfield festival and the Tollwood in Munich, they will come again to the Backstage in Munich on 23rd February 2012 for a headliner show.
