It’s been a couple of years and days ever since DEEP PURPLE did a first very special appearance in Germany, performing ‘Concerto For Group And Orchestra’ together with an orchestra. In fact, it’s been 11 years since that event tour went down. But now there’s a new treat for the DEEP PURPLE fans in the pipeline with the group planning on performing together with an orchestra again.
This time around though, they’re putting the emphasis on different things, that is, chapters of their career. Actually it’s all chapters of their career. Songs of every period have been recreated and will be showcased in completely new arrangement. It will be a journey through 43 years of music. Add to it the perfect location of the amphitheatre in Gelsenkirchen and you’ll be in for an unforgettable evening.
