STREAM OF PASSION entered the progressive / gothic metal scene with their successful debut album ‘Embrace The Storm’ in 2005. After many European tours and festival appearances resulting in a live DVD (Life in the Real World), but also big changes in the band’s line-up, they presented their second album ‘The Flame Within’ in 2009. The changed dynamics and interaction between the new band members are noticeable, but the unique sound of Mexican-born singer Marcella Bovio is still the core of the STREAM OF PASSION sound.
In 2011, STREAM OF PASSION will present their third album (out on Napalm Records). The album ‘Darker Days’ will be released at the CD presentation in P60, Amstelveen in the Netherlands. Famous for their energetic live performance, heavy guitars, raging pianos and haunting string arrangements, this show cannot be missed by real SOP fans.
