Review Flash

Three years after their debut album 'Rise From Grey', BLUME from Italy released their second album titled 'Autumn Ruins' last September. In this album, BLUME improved very much their synth pop sound. The vocals are better,  the production is better and the compositions are better. The album has down-tempo melancholic songs like 'To he Night', 'For My Lorraine' and 'Plutonian Shores' and songs for the dance floors like 'Western Rust' and 'The Chosen'. Enrico’s voice is one of the band's strong points; his voice brings to my mind COVENANT's Eskil Simonsson and DEPECHE MODE's Dave Gahan and with the nice melodies of Ivan gives us a very good result.

Conclusion: 'Autumn Ruins' was one of the most pleasant surprises for 2013 and show us that there is still high quality synthp op music!
