After many years of absence Jake E. Lee (ex OZZY, BADLANDS) is back with his new band named RED DRAGON CARTEL. The genre of the band’s debut is Hard Rock with Metal influences and some Blues parts. In the album we will find some well-known names of the Rock/ Metal scene as guests, names such as Robin Zander from CHEAP TRICK, the ex-IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di Anno, Rex Brown from KILL DEVIL HILL, Jeremy Spencer from FIVE FINGERS DEATH PUNCH and Scott Reeder from KYUSS. My favourite tracks of the album are the catchy ‘Feeder’, the heavy ‘Shout It Out’ and the SABBATH influenced ‘War Machine’ and ‘Deceived’ with the BARK AT THE MOON influenced guitar parts. The production is very good and highlights Jake's very good job on guitar.
Conclusion: A very descent debut album which leaves promises for an even better continuity.
