There has been some big changes in camp AUGER lately, including a change of record label and approach to their future releases. They plan to follow the same path as many other artists, with more regular single releases, perhaps with only weeks apart from each release. The new record deal should allow more freedom to mould their commercial portfolio. This latest single from the guys continues their key elements the band are well known for, melodic and instantly catchy - but with a greater nod towards their Rock influences; some terrific guitar work. As always lyrically this AUGER single tells a great story - combine this with Kyle’s vocal style, deep and clear, and you have a yet another winner. The story will become very recognisable for those that have had their good nature taken advantage of. Hey! It’s okay to say enough is enough! It’s never a good feeling to become so overwhelmed on the treadmill of life.
Conclusion: We all need compassion; we all need to feel we are not being taken advantage of. The heartfelt sound of the machine for sure.
