God Is An Astronaut
On February 19th, Kiev was visited by one of the most famous post-rock bands in the world - Irishmen GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT. Through the efforts of HMG (Happy Music Group), Sentrum club pleases recent regular Kiev music lovers with performances of really worthy music bands. This is what happened at this time too. "Try to remember this evening, please!" - the audience was asked at the end of performance by a vocalist of GIAA, Jamie Dean. Don’t worry, Jamie, we will not only remember this evening, but we will also make every effort to see and hear GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT in Kiev more than once! https://www.facebook.com/HappyMusicGroup

Hurts, Miamigo & Tüsn
Last year I had the chance to see HURTS for the first time live in Düsseldorf. Actually I was quite sceptical in the beginning, but in no time I was really flashed by the performance even in such a big venue. Thus I was very much looking forward to see this band once again on occasion of the “Surrender Tour” and this time in a smaller venue. Though the show was not sold out, a big crowd showed up. And as I could observe after the show, on my way back to the car, the devoted fans came from all over Germany, the Netherlands and even Poland.

Massive Attack & Young Fathers
Though it is still not sure if the band is working on a new album, alone the hint on Twitter raised a storm of enthusiasm. At least a tour in Germany was announced for February. And as a proof how important and appreciated this Bristol based band still is, the shows were quickly sold out. Likewise in the Palladium, Cologne, with a capacity of 4,000 guests. As supporting act the band invited YOUNG FATHERS, a trio from Edinburgh, to go on tour with MASSIVE ATTACK.

Indigo by Perttu Kivilaakso and Eicca Toppinen (Apocalyptica)
I am in Finnish National Opera, and in front of me, next to somewhat old-fashioned ladies, I can observe a spectator wearing aesthetically torn jeans and having long hairs that are hanging off his seat. He is quite a contrast with the rest of audience that is dressed like on a President's Ball. When rock-influenced aria ‘Governor of Paradise’ hits in, he puts hands together and starts nodding to the rhythm. Listens most of score calmly, starts to applause just a moment after the majority of people, and suddenly takes a happy selfie when artists on stage are bowing to audience. While leaving the opera hall, coincident neighbors warmly greet one of the authors, Perttu Kivilaakso from APOCALYPTICA.
