The Cardigans & Florian Horwath
It was one of those days when the sky doesn’t know weather it shall rain or not. I arrived quite early at the venue and luckily it stayed dry so it was no problem to stand in the growing queue for a while until the doors opened at seven. Even though it took a while until the venue filled up it seemed to be sold out or at least close to sold out so many people came to see beautiful Nina Persson and her band mates from Sweden.

Code 64 & Trauma Pet
Where in other countries cybergothic seems to be quite a big scene, the Netherlands is still slowly but surely getting into it. Monthly dance party Cyberia sometimes has concerts before the real dancing begins. Today they hosted two bands who could prove themselves. Elegant Machinery and Dreiklangzone
Sometimes wishes come true. It was about 8 or 9 years ago, when I heard the first time about Elegant Machinery. I liked them at once and just couldn’t believe when they split up. So I thought I can’t trust my ears when I heard the news that they are back together again and will release new material this year! To promote the old and new stuff they played some gigs in Germany and I was really looking forward to that.

Unheilig

Theatre of Tragedy and Gothminister
I was really looking forward to seeing Theatre of Tragedy again. Especially I was anxious to see and hear their new singer. In the old days I was pretty hooked to Theatre of Tragedy, but they lost me with their crossroad album ‘Musique’.
