In Flames, Sepultura, Dagoma
The evening promised to be a fucking hot mixture. Headliner of the tour were ‘In Flames’ but when you have a closer look to the support – nobody less than ‘Sepultura’ – then you need to ask if you can speak of support and headliner at all. Following our opinion – and not only ours but also according to a lot of fans – it was a double-headliner show. And fans were there in masses. Long queues in front of the entrance made us imagine how full it would become later and why the concert was changed from the E-Werk to the much bigger Palladium. At the beginning there seemed to be some problems with the entrance and the big gates stayed closed unexpectedly. But after a short waiting time the doors were opened and about 3500 fans floated into the venue.

Analogue Brain and Boundlezz
This evening should become something special for ‘Analogue Brain’. It was their first ever live performance and so the band signed from the ‘Out of Line’ label was pretty nervous before the show. But there was no reason to be. Their sound check worked pretty well, they got rid of all the feedbacks and there were quite a few people showing up. It was probably a good idea to play during a Wednesday when the Kulturfabrik was not collecting any entrance fee. Additionally a lot of friends of both bands showed up and so it only could become a good evening.

Cultus Ferox – Rum-Tour 2006
The band name ‘Cultus Ferox’ (lat.) means ‘Wild Way of Life’. And so they are! After the break-up with their two youngest musicians Briantanus and Asmon (returned to their old band ‘Fabula Aetatis’) the band formed itself new. Their in summer released EP ‘Aufbruch’ announced rock sounds already. Fans that came with such an expectance to this “Rum-Tour” 2006 weren’t disappointed! The band broke up with the pure medieval structures. The traditional dances were enhanced with guitar, bass and some electronic aspects. But no overhasty conclusion: This is not only the typical Medieval-Rock-Side-Project.

[:SITD:]
This evening should become something special – the band [:SITD:] was celebrating its 10th birthday in their home area. Theme of the whole event was “[:SITD:] and friends” – so they were not celebrating alone – lots of fans came to see the show and dance later to the DJ set of ‘VNV Nation’ members Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson. As support the band invited Kolja Trelle aka ‘Soman’ for a short show who we just know from the latest ‘VNV Nation’ tour.
