Fish and Anne Marie Helder
This was going to be a special night, not because it was the legendary Fish on stage with his return to childhood tour, but because this 2m tall man had turned 48 and celibrated his birthday together with a lot of fans in the nice and cozy venue in Rijssen. Those who were there found themselves lucky indeed.

ORKUS FESTIVAL - CLUB TOUR: Division Kent, Zeraphine, Funker Vogt, And One
The most popular German Synthie-Pop act ‘And One’ wanted to present a new album. Also ‘Funker Vogt’ started meanwhile new directions with the use of guitars. ‘Zeraphine’ found their way to Krefeld too and had new material to offer. Newcomer ‘Division Kent’ wanted to prove how good Switzerland and New York harmonize. All these bands came together to play new and older songs. Unfortunately not as many people as expected came along – not really a wonder on a Thursday night. Nevertheless it was a great and successful evening.

Suicide Commando, Insekt, This Morn’ Omnia, Painbastard
This evening’s line-up was something special with just four bands touring together. Headliner ‘Suicide Commando’ brought two more Belgium bands with them – the old-school EBM band ‘Insekt’ and the Ethno-Industrial band ‘This Morn’ Omnia’. Fourth band was the German Dark-Electro formation ‘Painbastard’; altogether a very promising combination. Especially I was looking forward ‘Insekt’ because I loved their show at WGT some years ago.

Saltatio Mortis
There are some Medieval-Rock bands in Germany and one of the hardest working ones is ‘Saltatio Mortis’. The band from the Southwest released their last album in august 2005 and is on tour now. During the interview we already get to know that Alea torments a cold and thus we worried a little about the concert. Nevertheless, this worry was absolutely groundless.

Therapy?, Heideroosjes and The Apers
The evening started off a the wrong foot: while trying to reach Paradiso, Amsterdam we got stuck in a traffic jam and got lost in Amsterdam when trying to find a place to park our car. Because of all the break ups in the road we couldn’t get to the one we wanted, so after a long search we finally got a place to dump the car, but we had already missed the first act, ‘The Apers’. Too bad….
