Album Review
After a five years pause, HUMAN DECAY are coming back with the new release. Now close your eyes and breathe in spring air. Damp and cool it goes straight to your lungs and the euphoria fills your body. Open your eyes and see a spring sunray fighting with grey clouds. And now imagine this picture, painted on the iron sky of the electronic music. HUMAN DECAY presented spring’s sunny warmth to the electronic world with their release ‘Credit to Humanity’. The musical diversity surprises a lot. The album is mostly based on PRODIGY’s sound. But even if sometimes musical quotes are clear like daylight, with addition of charismatic vocals, a bit of keys and folk-elements (yes, even some elves would love it) this album becomes one of the best recent electronic releases.
Every song has its unique special idea, something new and unexpected, and it lives its own life. Finally EBM isn’t just a flat electronic sound with as flat boring vocals, but has several polyphonic dimensions: it’s synthetic, instrumental, vocal, platonic and almost tangible. This album is like a living creature, and you are inside of its tummy. It’s warm and pulsing. Losing your conscience because of the pressure and stuffiness you’re hallucinating and your mind shows you wonderful space landscapes, Celtic forests or cyber images. ‘Credit to Humanity’ is where electronic body music meets intelligence, so getting the credit, don’t lose your chance to feel yourself a human.
