ME.MAN.MACHINE. is a Swiss band formed in late 2010.In November 2012 they released their first full length album titled 'Reviver' through the German label Echozone. The album contains 11 easy listening Indie Rock tracks mainly influenced by bands like TRAVIS, A-HA, KINGS OF LEON, U2, MUSE and DEPECHE MODE. Their singer Roland Häusler has a very good clear voice which helps the listener to understand the lyrics of each song. The lyrics are in general melancholic but does not create to the listener negative mood. The sound of the album is very good and this is normal if we consider that was mixed in London by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Can, Nick Cave and many more).
The minus of the album is that we will not find something that we haven't listen before, there are so many bands that are having this style of music (good vocals, good productions melancholic lyrics etc.).I don't say that is a bad album but something is missing to make it special. I think ME.MAN.MACHINE. are having the potential to create something even better in the future until then we are listening to 'Reviver' and waiting for their next music step.
