For all those listeners who are interested in Indie music, Tobias Borelius might be very familiar name. He is a talented musician, lead singer and song writer in the pretty known and successful Swedish Indie band EMERALD PARK. But if you are new to this artist then there is nothing better than to get to know about him right now from his solo album ‘Du Känner Mig För Väl, Farväl’ which was released this October.
The first big difference between EMERALD PARK and Tobias’ solo project is the language on which songs are performed. There are no English lyrics on ‘Du Känner Mig För Väl, Farväl’, Tobias Borelius sings in Swedish, his own language. Despite the fact that his Swedish melodically combines with music, it could be pretty hard to understand meaning of songs for all listeners outside Sweden or for those who are not familiar with Tobias native language.
Musically this album brings you back to the 80ies with all those old analogue synthesizer sounds. Guitar perfectly fits to this kind of electronic mixture. Its hard to choose best tracks on this album as they are all on the same level and do sound like a light-hearted pop music that would perfectly accompany you on the upcoming winter evenings!
