Blackfield Festival Day 3: Herzfeind, [X]-RX, The Beauty Of Gemina, Beborn Beton, Clan Of Xymox, End Of Green, Letzte Instanz, L'âme Immortelle, Mono Inc., Project Pitchfork
The last day of the Blackfield 2015 was also the very last day of Blackfield ever! At least at the Amphi Theatre in Gelsenkirchen, as the organizers kept open the option to re-start the festival in another location - if they can find one! If such a plan would work it is questionable, as the Amphi Theatre was a big part in the charm and the identity of the Blackfield. Anyway, the third day of this year's Blackfield saw mixed weather and a mixed bag of bands...

Blackfield Festival Day 2: X-Divide, Frank The Baptist, She Past Away, .com/kill, Sono, Die Kammer, Solar Fake, Unzucht, Mesh, Deine Lakaien, Eisbrecher
The second day started a bit cool with a short and heavy rain at noon but then the sky cleared off and once again we had perfect sunny weather. And once again I omit using sun blocker early enough and got a little bit sunburnt. Besides my favourite band of the day there were a lot of great musical acts but also some I could do without. Like last year much more people were present on this day and the next than on Friday.

29th May 2015
Republica, Tenek & Kenelis
The chance to see AMANDA PALMER & NEIL GAIMAN live led my way to London for a short trip. My lovely host informed me before I started my travel that just the other day REPUBLICA will perform in London and supporting act will be TENEK and if I would like to see them also. Of course I wanted to as this would mean to see a full show of REPUBLICA, which I saw for the first time at the Pluswelt Festival last year and was overwhelmed by the energetic show. It also meant that I could see TENEK finally again which I saw the last time four years ago in Germany. Under The Bridge is quite a new club, not easy to find, near the Chelsea FC’s stadium at Stamford Bridge. The owner prides himself in having the best sound system in the UK. The venue is really lush and everything, including the lavatories is bright and shiny.

For the eighth and unfortunately the last time at the Amphitheater, the Blackfield Festival took place and many people came to enjoy the music, the special atmosphere, meeting friends or making new friends and making it altogether a great weekend.

Rock im Revier 2015 Day 3: Black Map, Kissin’ Dynamite, Hellyeah, Accept, Epica, Five Finger Death Punch, The Darkness, Judas Priest, Airbourne, Kiss
We already reached the last day of the festival, and of course there was no chance to see all bands. The sheer amount was too much and besides, it was raining nearly the whole day. Last day also means that we should have a general look at the first Rock im Revier.
