The concert evening at the Haus Leipzig was opened by MORLAS MEMORIA. The young band from Dresden was able to enthuse the audience with their symphonic metal. You can find songs of the band on YouTube and you should definitely listen to them. Leandra’s voice is simply impressive. Then it was time for the headliner of the evening whom the fans in Leipzig were eagerly awaiting. From the first song, LACRIMOSA could thrill their fans. With very good sound and light, the fans were offered an outstanding performance. A concert evening that will be remembered for a long time!

In autumn 2017, MANDO DIAO were playing an extended tour with several dates in Germany. With new energy and joy to bring the band into focus again, the boys are happier and more excited than ever. After nineteen years together, singer and guitarist Gustaf Norén left the band in June 2015 in friendship. To lose the singer is a big thing for a band. Most of them do not recover from it. But not MANDO DIAO. Always, mastermind Björn Dixgård was identified as central front man due to his remarkable voice. And so, the band decided to go on.

On October 20th, Anneke van Giersbergen’s new progressive metal band VUUR released their much-anticipated debut album, ‘In This Moment We Are Free – Cities’. The album entered the Dutch Album Top 100 at number 2, Van Giersbergen’s highest-ever chart position. After touring in Europe as main support to EPICA, the band added a string of headlining tour dates for February 2018 afterwards, starting with a few shows in UK. Just back on the mainland, VUUR continued the tour at the Rockpalast in Bochum, supported by VOTUM from Poland.

As first band on that evening, DUNKELSUCHT from Switzerland entered the stage. The project exists since 2016. With their successful mix of EBM, Industrial, Gothic and Synth Pop they will quickly build their own fan base. The response to the band was very positive that evening. Second band of the evening was VERSUS. The formation from Dresden exists already since 2001. At the Beatpol, the band had a concert in their own hometown and expressed their joy.
