There’s really nothing to complain about, CYNDI LAAUPER is always good for a surprise. After the pop icon put some of their greatest hits amongst are ‘Time After Time’, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ und ‘True Colors’ in some whole new costumes on her last album ‘The Body Acoustic’ (2006) with the help of very interesting guests like Shaggy, Jeff Beck or Ani DiFranco and took a role on the Broadway in the ‘Dreigroschenoper’, the New York based musician will release a new studio album with ‘Bring Ya to the Brink’ on 1st August 2008. It’s the first CYNDI LAUPER album since 1997 that is exclusively comprised of new songs.- Details

THE VERVE, Richard Ashcroft (vocals), Simon Jones (bass), Nick McCabe (guitar) and Peter Salisbury (drums) release their first single in over ten years on Friday 1st August 2008. Entitled 'Love Is Noise', the single is released on Capitol/EMI Music and is their first single release since 1998's ‘Sonnet’. To hear ‘Love Is Noise’ go to www.myspace.com/thevervetv.Produced by the band and recorded at State Of The Ark and Metropolis studio in London, 'Love Is Noise' will surprise and thrill even the most ardent Verve fan and looks set to become an anthem for 2008. This year's Summerbreeze is going to be the 11th time for Metalheads, Gothics and Rockers to gather in Dinkelsbuehl to solemnize three days of good music. There will be 90 bands on 3 stages, without overlapping schedules for the main stages. And for those who come early, the party tent opens on the 13th at 4 PM already.
