DIAMOND BLACK, the dynamic Dark Rock band fronted by Ben Christo, guitarist from Iconic Post-Punk / Gothic Rock band SISTERS OF MERCY, are on the road in February. Many of you will have seen DIAMOND BLACK when they supported LORD OF THE LOST on their UK tour last summer. This time they will be touring with Japanese Electro Rock band ESPRIT D’AIR with fifteen dates in the UK and Ireland and four dates in Europe. DIAMOND BLACK produce songs that are emotive, introspective and leave you hungry for more. Like their name suggests: DIAMOND BLACK are a symphony of sheer brilliance, Dark Rock with a dazzling light. Better hurry to grab those tickets though, as many dates are already sold out!

80s live - “The biggest 80s Party of the world” - with Boy George, Holly Johnson, ABC, Alphaville, Cutting Crew, Gazebo, Paul Young, Samantha Fox, Sandra and Tony Hadley

The 80s were one of the most influential periods. This era was so diverse, not only in terms of fashion, but also musically. In 2023, some heroes and idols of youth from the 80s came together in Düsseldorf for a huge party. After the huge success of this concept, it quickly became clear that it had to be done again. The aim is to top this successful party again in 2024. The Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen was chosen as the location. Located in the heart of the Ruhr region, the football stadium can hold up to 70,000 spectators.

With KÆLAN MIKLA from Iceland (for example known from the tour together with VILLE VALO), the US Electro project RUINED CONFLICT, and the Berlin-based Dark-Wave formation DEUS EX LUMINA, the current festival line-up is complete. In addition, day tickets for Amphi 2024 are now available in presale. As always, you can get them at the Amphi Shop www.amphi-shop.de, at all known CTS/EVENTIM presale outlets, and at Eventim! On the Amphi website (www.amphi-festival.de/2024/bands.html), you can find all bands sorted by days (subject to short-term changes).

The legendary SWANS are back on the road in Europe for the first time in a long time. Formed in the 80s, the band toured American clubs and thrilled audiences with their Rock music, which could never be pigeonholed. The US-Americans became famous in 1988 with their cover version of JOY DIVISON’s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’.
